Hafila S Kairun
Hafila Studied M.Sc. Chemistry from Indian Institute Of Technology–Palakkad (IIT–Palakkad). In her master's thesis, she explored the defects in material for energy and environment application.
Presently, she is doing her her PhD under guidance of Dr. Navneet Gupta on the functionalization of biomass-derived oxygenates into valuable chemicals using heterogeneous catalysts.
Ripsa Rani Nayak
Ripsa completed her M.Tech. in Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology from NIT Kurukshetra in 2022. Her master’s thesis work was focused on the green synthesis of semiconducting ZnSe-based nanomaterials by using organic wastes/plant extracts for environmental applications and dye degradation. She is currently doing a Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Navneet Gupta on the functionalization of cellulosic biomass-derived oxygenates.
Besides, she enjoys painting (winner of karmakar during graduation and fine art in postgraduation), hiking, and traveling. She is also in numismatics.
Rajat successfully recieved his M.Sc. in Chemistry & Environmental Science from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur in 2023. His master's thesis centered on the in-situ synthesis of melem-based polymeric materials, designed to emulate half of the natural photosynthetic system. For his outstanding academic achievements in master study, Rajat was honored with a Gold Medal by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh. Presently, he serves as a project associate, working under the guidance of Dr. Navneet Gupta, where his focus lies on catalytic bio-based aromatics production.
Outside of his academic pursuits, he enjoys traveling, playing cricket, and listening to music.
